However, none of these diets are recommended as a long-term solution to weight loss and, in fact, may actually cause damage to the body if repeated too frequently. The highly restricted intake doesn't provide your body with all the vitamins and nutrients necessary for healthy living and that's why you aren't supposed to stay on the diet for more than 3 days and shouldn't repeat the diet within a 10 day period.
